The BROCK AGENCY was founded in 1959 by Houstonian
and big band leader Buddy Brock. As he provided his many clients with quality service and consultation for big band performances,
his reputation as an "entertainment adivsor" grew to the point that he needed to reorganize a business agency separate from
his orchestra. His clients began to rely more and more on his experience and recommendations to the point of trusting all
of their entertainment needs to him.
Buddy's concept of "consulting" with his clients proved successful. He was able
to offer them more options than traditional booking agencies, which were limited to their exclusive artist rosters, and it
allowed him to be more creative in combining different types of entertainment for their productions.
During Houston's
emergence as one of the country's metropolitan centers, the Brock Agency artist and client base became extremely diverse.
As Houston prospered, the Brock Agency became one of the Gulf Coast area's largest and strongest entertainment consulting
companies.
Today, we continue the tradition of "entertainment consulting" that Buddy Brock began.

Federation of Musicians and we are members of The Society of Texas Entertaiment Professionals and the Texas Association of
Fairs and Events.

Mark Taylor
- President of the Brock Agency - joined the Agency in 1976 after finishing college at the University of Houston. A native
Houstonian, he began his consulting career working with private party and convention clients. Today, in addition to these
clients he provides consulting services to such diverse clients as the City of Conroe, TX, the Petroleum Club of Houston and
Cox Radio Houston. He has produced multi-stage, multi-day community wide events (Festivals) as well as high profile, private
events. Mark is recognized for his attention to detail and his fairness and sensitivity to the needs of both client and performer.
In 1988 Mark bought the Brock Agency and continues the fine tradition of consulting and producing that Buddy Brock began.
